We carved pumpkins with our friends the Wilkinsons this year. Alyssa baked the seeds this year. They turned out good and crispy. Colston did not like anything to do with the pumpkins. It seemed like he was scared of them or something.
When grandma and grandpa came to visit one of our activities was to play "market place." We each chose a store to be and set up shop. We had a book store, beauty shop, grocery store, bakery, quilt shop, game and toy store. It was a lot of fun and the kids learned a lot about spending money!
Ava would stay outside all day playing in the mud if she could. She loves to make potions, mud pies and all other sorts of baking items just with mud!!!
We made these cookies using a sugar cookie recipe and crushed lifesaver candies. It went along with a book we read this week about the Renaissance Period.
We added a turtle to the mix around here. The kids are having a great time with him. The dogs will take some time getting used to another creature in the backyard. We love looking outside and seeing Max walking around, its so fun.
