Alyssa's 5th Birthday Party

After changing her mind like a million times for what she wanted for her party..."Princess", "Butterfly", "Flowers",..She finally decided to go with a "heart" party. It worked out great being around Valentines and all. It was a one stop shop at the store, because they had all the decorations and crafts down one aisle. It was great! She put up Hearts everywhere, red, pink crepe paper on the stairs & decorated the cupcakes with red sprinkles and cupid corn (Valentine version of candy corn). She had loads of fun with her friends and enjoyed turning 5!!

She got this Cheerleading video for one of her presents, It comes with a baton and pom poms and loves to follow along and be a cheerleader.....Corbin likes to do it too, don't tell Brad

Park Time

This is Alyssa with her friend Zoe playing in the sand at the park.

Watching the Rain

Ava loves to watch the rain. She sits by the door and hangs out watching
the rain come down. Even when she was a few months old I would put her
in her carseat by the door and she would look out the window
for the longest time.

"Family Bonding"

Alyssa caught on to riding her bike with no training wheels really fast. We were just talking about it one day outside to see if she wanted to try it and she said sure. Within minutes she was riding on her own. Brad and I thought it was a lot harder to teach than it actually was.

Ava is my sidewalk buddy. She hangs out with me while the kids zoom up and down the street.

Our Big 3 Year Old

Ava loves the tile floor. Now that she is cruising all over she loves to hang out under the kitchen table and in the kitchen. This means I have to sweep the floor 3-4 times a day to make sure she doesn't eat anything she's not supposed to, but she's worth it.

Girlie Girls

Alyssa can't wait to have some girl fun with Ava.
She loves playing and holding Ava and does so good with her.
Ava has loved the bead necklaces lately and of course anything
she can put her mouth on so Alyssa took this opportunity to
"play" beauty shop with her.

Our FAVORITE Firefighter

Uncle Bill let us take a tour of the Fire Department back there in Hop Town.
The kids loved it. They climbed in and out of the Ambulance and Fire Truck, rung the old bell, saw where fireman eat, sleep and work out there big muscles in the weight room. They got a fire hat and loved every minute. Thank you Bill you are awesome!!! We miss you guys.

Buck & Bella

Brad's parents got a couple of dogs for themselves
over Christmas and the kids loved them...
well Ava wasn't sure about them!
They are Catahoola dogs and named them Buck and Bella.

Christmas Pancakes

We couldn't resist making such festive pancakes for breakfast one morning. It started out with one snowman and became baby snowmen and stars, candy canes, Christmas tress. The kids enjoyed eating the heads off the snowmen.
