New Camera!!

So I got a new camera from the best dad in the world!!! Its the NIKON D80 and I am loving it! I have used it quite a bit this past few weeks, but I still have a lot to learn. Fun Stuff. I love taking pictures. Thanks Dad. I love you.

What a Hail Storm !!!

Last week we had a huge hail storm come through. Myself from Cali and AZ never saw such a thing!! Yes we did have hail storms in those places, but hail this big was beyong cool to watch. It covered the yard within minutes. Once we knew it had stopped the kids got buckets and went to collect as much ice as they could. They didn't get very much because their hands got to cold holding the ice. I am getting my first exposures of different weather each day that I am here. Crazy, yet so fun!!

Football Season Part I

This is Spencer playing at his football game.
He is Number 87. This is his first season and he is getting better each time he plays. Since Brad and I don't have kids with sports yet, It is fun to go see these boys at their games and be involved. Its great to see them out there playing because they love the game so much.

Ava cheering for Spencer. I have to bring FruitLoops to keep her in the stroller and off the field.

Children's Museum in Salt Lake

Julie had tickets to go to the Childrens Musuem from her school so we all met up in Salt Lake and had a blast. There was a ball play were the kids put plastic balls in tubes and down chutes and holes, they loved it. They played with magnets, the media center, pretend everything you can think of and miniturized for kids. Play kitchen, house, construction zone, play store, rock wall and more. It was a lot of fun. Thanks Julie for inviting us.

Tanner getting more balls.

Here is a real helicopter on the roof that the kids got to pretend to fly and learn about helicopters.

S'MORES

We made some yummy s'mores last weekend! Everyone had a lot of fun cooking their marshmallows to perfection. Drew and Susan have a fire pit in their backyard so it is nice and convienent to have campfires without having to go anywhere. Although in AZ we would have them on the street with the neighbors or in the backyard too. I love doing this kind of stuff. Even Morris (Ethan's dog) was good, he did look at you with puppy dog eyes for a bite. I kept feeding him the broken graham crackers to hold him over. It worked until he got a taste of the good stuff from the kids and I never saw him by me again.

The Olympics

In honor of the past two weeks watching the olympics on TV, we thought we should have our own olympics for family night. Everyone picked a country to be to represent and we made flags for our own country to have during the games. It was a lot of fun. Susan was USA, Drew was Italy, Addison was Canada, Tanner was Turkey (because it had a star and a crescent shape on the flag), Alyssa was Panama (Yes she thought of you Uncle Edward), Spencer was Jamaica, Corbin was China, Sarah was Austrailia, and Ava was France. We had 4 events: Trampoline, 50 yd dash, Long Jump, and Gymnastics. At the end we had gold medals to give out at our awards ceremony, the kids loved that part, and for dessert we had ice cream cones for our "official olympic torches".
