Snow!!!

The Snow came to our house last night (as the kids put it). It has been snowing on the mountains a few times already, but only half way down the mountain. We woke up to a yard full of snow, We were so excited (we as in me and the kids since we haven't seen snow if forever!) Alyssa and Corbin stayed outside for a long time moving the snow in different places and making a castle. Ava didn't want to touch it. I had to take a picture of our pumpkins with snow on them. never seen that before. Let me tell you I am having a lot of first here in Utah. Oh and because the houses were covered with snow and the yards, the kids called it a christmas town and they really thought it was christmas today becuase of the snow. It was a fun filled day today with snow ball fights and snow castles and yes eating the snow too.

It has always been that Colorado gets snow on Halloween but this year it was 78 degrees...crazy huh? The first time in several years that Colorado did not get snow so I am jealous. I was really looking forward to the snow. There is plenty on the mountains but none has reached us just yet. It sure is cold but no snow just yet. Looks like you guys are surely enjoying it though. Far stretch from Arizona...huh? Good to see that you guys are doing well. Keep in touch!

Do you make any snow cream? I can't wait for it to snow so I can make as much as I can eat. Of course living in Kentucky we don't always get enough snow every winter to make any.
