Kentucky & Nauvoo

Putting this many pictures in a collage is a little crazy, but it was the only way to post quickly about this trip, way too many pictures so I just did some highlights. Brad's side of the family had their family reunion in Nauvoo Illinois this year. It was a blast. We drove out a couple of days early to go out to his parents house and stay a few days. The kids went fishing and each caught a fish, went on tractors rides, visited the horses and some other fun things you can only do at grandma and grandpa's house. =). We then drove up to Nauvoo and had the family reuinion for a few days, did the pageant (amazing), pioneer games and activities (kids and adults loved that), went to the temple, saw carthage jail and did the tour, went to Liberty Jail, went around nauvoo old town and did some tours there and just had a great time being with family. The humidity wasn't my favorite part, but we survived the heat and sweat 24/7!! We definantly want to go back and see some more places when the kids get a little older.

What an awesome family reunion! I would love to go to some of those Church history sites.

That sounds like a blast! Minus the humidity, but like living here in the heat--you deal, right!
