Sarah's 30th Birthday
My birthday landed on Thanksgiving this year. Yes its fun to share a birthday with a yummy good looking bird. The night before we were with my parents and my brother and his family and they took me to a fabulous Chinese restaurant for my birthday dinner. My mom and dad made up a basket full of 30 fun and creative gifts for me. (Thank you I loved it!) That night we headed north to see the rest of the family for Thanksgiving. Birthday morning a bunch of us ran a Turkey Trot 2mile, & 10k I haven't ran a race for a while so it was a lot of fun to run with a group. We all didn't stay together of course but it was the idea that we were all running somewhere in the same direction. I got a picture with Tom the Turkey and actually got to pet a real turkey. It was beautiful. solid white! Julie made some yummy brownies for my birthday dessert; made to order, (thanks Julie they were delicious.) blew out some candles and Magically I turned 30. Happy Birthday Me.
Thanksgiving 2011
I know out of order a little but thats ok right. It got on the blog so thats something. We went down to Arizona for Thanksgiving this year to visit my brother and his family, my parents and Brads family too. It was full of fun the time packed with stuff to do! There was lots of yummy food for all and great company. We made turkeys with our hand prints and name place setting with rocks and pasta. We had some great weather and then the sickness happened. A lot of us I guess shared a little too much love and got sick Friday/Saturday for the last part of our trip which made Sunday an awesome day to travel!!! NOT. It was horrible. we survived the drive as best we could and it is good to be home. Thanks Liz and Todd for having us for Thanksgiving.
Breakfast in Bed....
Well the Birthday Boy wanted breakfast in Bed this year so we made this wish come true. He planned his menu and just let the rest flow. So Corbin is usually one of the first to awake every morning because he is roomies with the baby. Not today. I had fed the baby around 6:30am and put him back to bed thinking he would just wake up in a half hour to an hour like he usually does. Next thing I know it is 8:15! I don't hear the baby so I get up real quick and check on everyone. Ava is watching cartoons for who knows how long and Corbin is playing in his bed awake just playing with his stuffed animals waiting for someone to bring his breakfast whenever that might be! He requested one eyed sailers, pears, OJ, and a banana and hot cocoa when he was done eating. So for 45 mins Corbin entertained the baby in his room singing 12 days of Chirstmas while I made breakfast. All of this does not normally happen like this but today it did and it was wonderful on all kinds of levels!! We love this big brother in our house! He is an amazing boy. Happy Official Birthday Corbin!!
Corbin 7th Birthday
Corbin wanted a LEGO party this year for his friend birthday party. He helped make his LEGO invitations and he built the awesome center piece on his cake. Each boy got a LEGO placemat with his name on it that Corbin helped color and glue lego guys on them. This was one excited boy the whole week before the party! He made 8 LEGO cars for each of his friends so they could race them down the track when they arrived. They were all hungry little boys and ate lots of pizza and cake and we all had fun watching Corbin open his fun presents from all his friends and family. Corbin said all he wanted for his birthday was for all of us to play legos with him for 2 hours! I love legos so I liked that wish for sure. Happy Birthday Corbin!!!

Colston; 7 months old
Well this boy has been officially mobile for the last month! He gets around where he needs to go, and pulls up on things to stand and see whats going on in the big world around him. We love this guy so much. Still the happiest baby around and we all get sucked in by his contagious smile, end up doing nothing but play with him all day! Could his eyes be any bluer?

Halloween 2011
Here we are all dressed up in our Halloween spirit! I was a Vampire with Alyssa, Brad was a Cowboy with Corbin, Ava was a witch and Colston was a dog. We all had a great time trick or treating, great weather and ended the night at the Thompsons for some yummy spiced donuts and sorting/trading of the candy!! Fun Fun
Trip to Idaho
The kids and I drove up to Shelley Idaho, where my brother and his family live. We drove up to spend the next 24 hours with them for my brothers birthday and to see their new little addition to the family Elijah. We are twins for a month, so of course I would have the desire to celbrate his birthday with him. We went up to Idaho Falls and saw the temple and "the falls" and some other really beautiful sites in that town. We went swimming in a indoor pool which the kids loved and had an overall great visit. My mom was up there already helping out with things so we got to see her too of course. Thanks for letting us visit....=)
Trip to Arizona
We had lots of fun going to Arizona a few weeks ago. It was good to get the cousins together (on both sides) and see them playing and making memories. We got to see some friends while there too and it was so good to see everyone. Wish we had more time, but thats life sometimes. =(
