Water Fun....
We went over to a friends house for the afternoon to play. The kids played on the slip n slide and sprinklers and had fun cooling off. Ava was a good big sister that put Collie into the sprinklers so he could get wet too. He was a good sport about it.
Silly Mountain Hike
As we were in Gilbert last weekend we all went for a hike together. It was about 2 miles of trail hiking around a mountain that led to the top. My camara died halfway up so I didn't get pictures at the top, but you could see pretty far away. It was a good hike for all ages.
Gilbert Temple
We went to Gilbert AZ to visit Brad's sister and her family for a day and we got to drive by and see how the construction of the Gilbert Temple was doing. Its coming along. The kids thought it was cool to see the building process of it all.
HIghlights of February
If you can't guess from the background of some of these pictures, we are in Arizona right now for a few months. The kids are having a great time with their cousins; playing in the sand (lots of it), jumping on the trampoline, playing with baby Declan, and lots of other fun stuff. The weather is still nice so that is good. Alyssa and Corbin are liking their new school and teachers and making new friends well. School starts a bit earlier here, but they get out earlier and they love the longer play time in the afternoon.
Colston's Daily Activites
Colston is a very good helper around the house. He helps put pots and pans away, cleans out cupboards, and he is always the first one running to come help me witht he laundry. (Now wether it is because he likes to dive into the basket and through all the clothes everywhere or actually wants to help me is still to be clear) He is such a fun little boy to have around. Getting busier by the day though.

Finally.....SNOW!!!
We woke up to lots of snow last Saturday. We hurried and ate breakfast and got our snow clothes on and went out and had a lot of fun. The girls made snowmen and Corbin and the neighbor kids shoveled the street randomly. We had a great day making snow angels and snow balls. Now we just are waiting for another storm to come our way and give us some more snow.

Preparing for Santa
The kids put out 8 piles of food (oatmeal, rice chex and glitter) and carrots for the Reindeer, cookies for Santa and the special Santa Key outside so Santa could get in.
Christmas Eve
We had the Thompson's over for dinner Christmas Eve and had a very yummy ham and potato dinner. After dinner we went to our neighbors and acted out the nativity story with all the kids, then came back to our house for dessert. (Chocolate Roll) We had a great evening spending it with family and friends.
Gingerbread Houses
We made our annual Gingerbread houses again this year. It was a lot of fun as usual. We had our neighbors join the fun this year. We got into pairs and went to work on our masterpieces.

Sarah's 30th Birthday
My birthday landed on Thanksgiving this year. Yes its fun to share a birthday with a yummy good looking bird. The night before we were with my parents and my brother and his family and they took me to a fabulous Chinese restaurant for my birthday dinner. My mom and dad made up a basket full of 30 fun and creative gifts for me. (Thank you I loved it!) That night we headed north to see the rest of the family for Thanksgiving. Birthday morning a bunch of us ran a Turkey Trot 2mile, & 10k I haven't ran a race for a while so it was a lot of fun to run with a group. We all didn't stay together of course but it was the idea that we were all running somewhere in the same direction. I got a picture with Tom the Turkey and actually got to pet a real turkey. It was beautiful. solid white! Julie made some yummy brownies for my birthday dessert; made to order, (thanks Julie they were delicious.) blew out some candles and Magically I turned 30. Happy Birthday Me.
