Bowling

While we were in Cali, My sister and I took the kids bowling
for a fun summer activity. It was Alyssa's first time bowling.
She wasn't sure at first, but the older girls showed her how and
she got the hang of it. They also have this ramp that the
kids can use to roll their ball down to make it go straight and
faster. I haven't been bowling for years. It was so much fun.

Ava and I got a STRIKE together!! A couple of times I just held
Ava while I bowled, she loved it and I was stoked that i got a strike too.

You like my Bike!!!

No, this is not my bike....It is my nephews bike and I took him up
on his offer to ride it. It is a gas bike that is like 2 feet off the ground.
It doesn't go very fast, but it was still fun.

Alyssa lost her First Tooth

Bike Ride

I went with my dad on a bike ride to San Juan Capistrano for one of his club rides.
We rode with the group, their were about 50 bikes, which made up 4 groups.
(We were in the 3rd group) It was a lot of fun, I took some pictures,
My butt hurt the whole way home. we went about 110 miles.

This is where we stopped to eat lunch with the group.

As you can see in the picture the train pulled right
up to the restaurant. We were talking and eating, then all of
a sudden there is this huge double decker train right outside.

Meet Gus

The kids loved Gus. He is a cute Boxer Puppy and is so dang cute.
If we could have a dog, this would be him, Brad and I both love Brown/white Boxers.
Alyssa and Corbin had a blast with Gus around. Ava was curious, but scared too.
If you were laying down, he would jump on you and want to wrestle.
That was corbin's favorite part. I was surprised how well Alyssa did
with a dog around. She actually cried when Gus had to leave.

Dog Food Anyone....

my brother Edward and his wife came up for the weekend
and they brought their new dog. Brad is allergic to pretty much everything
with fur so we weren't quite sure how this was going to go.
Anyways I found out that puppies don't carry the dandruff
that older mature dogs do that people are allergic too. So the puppy
was happy to be indoors and out of the heat all weekend
and Brad stayed happy not sneezing all weekend. So Ava saw
this bag of dog food on the kitchen counter and kept asking and
pointing to it. I told her it was for the dog. I thought to myself, she
is not going to stop asking so i will give her some so she can taste
it and not like it.......guess what, she wanted more!!!

ALL GONE!!!!!!

Who wants ice cream?

So Alyssa and Corbin thought it would be funny to dip their
chocolate ice cream cones on Ava's head. Poor Ava, I think its because
she is bald that it is so much fun to decorate her head.
She didn't cry any time during the blob hit. maybe thats
why the kids kept doing it, they thought she liked it.. yeah right.

Shawn & Cassidy's Wedding

Congratulations Shawn and Cassidy! Welcome to the Family.

This was the church in Pine Valley, UT that they were married in.
Cassidy's Great Grandfather built it long ago and they were able to use it.

We had sack lunches after the ceremony as our "dinner". It took
an hour to get back to St. George from Pine Valley
for the reception and it was an evening ceremony so they
had sack lunches for everyone. we had a little picnic on
the grass, while they took wedding pictures. It was so nice.
You couldn't have asked for better weather.
